Our Story
For more than 23 years of marriage, our lives have been shaped by a shared calling to walk with people through both beauty and brokenness. We spent 10 of those years living cross-culturally in the Middle East, an experience that deeply formed our faith, our marriage, and our understanding of resilience. Together we’ve raised four children—one through adoption—which has given us a firsthand understanding of the unique joys and challenges that adoption can bring to individuals, marriages, and families.
Along the way, our professional paths have strengthened this calling. Justin served as a hospital chaplain, standing with individuals and couples in moments of trauma, grief, and loss—often helping them find steady ground when life felt overwhelming. Kaela currently serves in private counseling practice, offering a space of wisdom, care, and practical tools for healing and growth. Today, Justin serves as a Discipleship Pastor at a local church, continuing to invest in the spiritual and relational formation of others.
Over the years, a clear passion has emerged: to serve those who have been wounded and those navigating struggling marriages. We see it as a deep privilege to come alongside others and enter into their pain with humility and hope. With our faith in Christ as the anchor in uncertain waters, we desire to offer stability, perspective, and direction—using God-given gifts and tools to help others weather the storm and move toward healing, restoration, and renewed strength.
Marriage intensives are not only for marriages in imminent crisis, but also for couples who have begun to drift in different directions and need intentional realignment. Whether you're facing rough seas or subtle distance, these
intensives create space to repair, refocus, and restore meaningful connection.

One-to-One Care
Every marriage has a story, and your time with us is shaped around yours. Our intensive offers deeply personalized, one-on-one care tailored specifically to your relationship, your challenges, and your hopes for healing. Prior to our time together, we meet with you online for an advance consultation to carefully assess your needs, listen to your story, and begin praying with and for you—seeking God’s discernment for how best to steward your time in the intensive.
During the intensive, you will receive focused clinical care from Kaela Easley, LPC-A, with evidence-based approaches thoughtfully integrated into a Christian framework. EMDR therapy is utilized as needed to help address trauma, attachment wounds, and emotional patterns that may be impacting your marriage. Alongside this, you will receive pastoral care from Justin Easley, MDiv, offering spiritual guidance, prayer, and biblical wisdom to help anchor your healing in faith and truth.
Together, clinical insight and pastoral care create a safe, intentional space where restoration can begin—mind, heart, and spirit.

Holistic Healing
Healing happens most deeply when the whole person—and the whole marriage—is cared for. Our approach to healing is intentionally holistic, integrating psychological insight and spiritual formation to address emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions together rather than in isolation. We attend not only to patterns and pain, but also to faith, meaning, and the presence of God in the midst of your story.
Your intensive takes place in a peaceful, restorative environment designed to support reflection, connection, and renewal. Surrounded by towering pine trees, calming water, and the warmth of a beautiful home, couples are given space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. Unhurried time together—away from daily distractions—allows room for honest conversation, prayer, and intentional rebuilding.
By caring for the heart, mind, body, and spirit, we create space for lasting transformation—where healing is not rushed, and restoration can take root in both the individual and the marriage as a whole.

Anchored in Prayer
Our relationship with God is the driving force behind everything we do. We communicate with God through prayer. Therefore, this intensive is first and foremost an act of seeking God—inviting His wisdom, presence, and healing into every aspect of the process. While we bring our professional training in counseling and pastoral care, we do so in humble dependence on the Lord, trusting that true transformation flows from Him. We begin praying for you long before you ever arrive—asking God for discernment, clarity, and direction as we prepare for our time together.
Throughout the intensive, prayer remains woven into each day as we seek God together, listen for His leading, and entrust your marriage into His care. Our hope is not simply to offer tools or insight, but to create space where the Holy Spirit is actively at work. And, our prayers do not end when you leave. We continue lifting you and your marriage before the Lord, trusting Him to sustain, protect, and grow the work He has begun—anchoring your journey in faith, hope, and His abiding love.

Importance of an intensive.
When a marriage is struggling, waiting weeks or months for progress can feel overwhelming. A marriage intensive allows couples to engage in the equivalent of weeks of traditional counseling within a focused, uninterrupted time block — creating momentum that is often difficult to achieve in standard weekly sessions.
By setting aside dedicated time away from daily responsibilities and distractions, couples are able to go deeper, more quickly. Patterns become clearer, core issues can be addressed with intention, and meaningful breakthroughs are more likely when the work is not repeatedly paused and restarted. This concentrated format provides space for reflection, integration, and real connection without the pressure of rushing back into everyday life between sessions.
For couples who desire continued support, follow-up virtual sessions are available to help reinforce progress, process ongoing growth, and provide guidance as you integrate what was learned into daily life. Whether the intensive serves as a turning point or the beginning of a longer journey, our goal is to support lasting healing and restoration.
What We Believe
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the foundation for faith and life.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105)
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
Sacred Marriage
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church,
and is a lifelong union between
one man and one woman.
(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:25–32)
Salvation in Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave. Salvation is by grace
through faith in Christ alone.
(John 1:1,14; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, who brings conviction, healing, and transformation in
the lives of believers.
(John 16:13; Romans 8:11)
The Local Church
We believe in the importance of
the local church for discipleship, accountability, and spiritual care, and we integrate biblical truth with ethical, evidence-based counseling practices. (Hebrews 10:24–25; Colossians 1:28)
